Stars Curcio to Miss Year Sunday, June 28th , 2065 Bruce Curcio has to call it a season. The Philadelphia Stars starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Cooperstown Greats and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Curcio was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and stated that he would not be able to play for 9 months. In 16 starts this season Curcio has notched a 5-6 record and a 6.43 ERA. |
