Canadians Move on to League Championship Series Tuesday, September 24th , 2069 When the entire season comes down to one game, Antonio Guevara said you find out what a team is really about. As it turns out, the Vancouver Canadians are made of fight and tenacity, as the team got by the Montgomery Kings 3-2 tonight at Vancouver Field in order to win the Wildcard Series and book a place in the next round. "It wasn't hard to get excited for this game," said Guevara, whose strong offensive output earned him MVP honors. "Our guys answered the call and proved a lot about what our team is all about." Guevara hit .500 with a .667 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 4 runs. The Vancouver Canadians will play against the Philadelphia Stars in the next round.
