Kevin Stark took Union League by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 23.
For his spectacular campaign, the Montgomery Kings star has been named the 2069 East Most Valuable Hitter recipient.
"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the first baseman.
On the season he compiled a .359 batting average to go with a .499 on-base percentage. The native of San Jose, California also added 32 doubles, 1 triple, 44 home runs, 126 RBIs and 129 runs scored.
He received 16 first place votes out of a possible 20. Ed Hechavarria of the Savannah Storm finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Juan Carrion of the Philadelphia Stars finished third.
