Redington Beach's Marques Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits Friday, May 22nd , 2065 It was a parade of hits for Willie Marques of the Redington Beach Panic at Lakeland Grounds today. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Marques finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Panic to a 21-7 victory. "Marques was really good and we were really bad," groaned Bulldogs manager . "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Willie Marques walked in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Fernando Villa in the 5th, hit a three-run double in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
