Watkins, left fielder for the Delray Beach Grasshoppers, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 25 games with 2 hits in his club's 7-5 victory today over the Redington Beach Panic at Grasshoppers Ballpark today. "Not the outcome we wanted," Redington Beach manager said. "There's never a good time to lose, and it's never fun to be on the wrong end of somebody else's accomplishment." J.J. Watkins singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and grounded out in the 7th. In his 2065 season totals, Watkins has 7 home runs, .376 BA, .473 OBP, 34 RBIs and 53 runs scored. |
