Brian Ellis was the King of Swing today at Jacksonville Field today in the 16-7 Miami Beach Expos win over the Jacksonville Rockies. The Miami Beach third baseman stepped into the batter's box 6 times against Jacksonville and delivered 5 hits. It was a sensational game for him.
"Unbelievable feeling," he told the press. "It felt good. 5-for-6 isn't bad for your batting average either."
Brian Ellis doubled in the 1st, grounded out in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Freddy Sauceda in the 6th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Jorge Rojas in the 7th, hit a solo-shot off Jose Urizar in the 8th and hit a two-run triple in the 9th.
