Star of the Week Named in LLE Monday, August 6th , 2068 Jesus Tapia has been in a real groove lately. The 18-year-old St. Augustine Suns first baseman nabbed East Player of the Week honors today after beating up on opposing pitchers all last week. Tapia's hot streak featured 16 hits in 26 at-bats, 3 home runs, 10 RBIs, 6 runs scored and a .615 average. For the season Tapia has hit .269 with 13 home runs and 48 RBIs. He has played in 57 games and scored 30 times. |
