White Hitless, Stopped by Swamp Things Friday, August 16th , 2069 After 20 games, St. Augustine third baseman Doug White saw his hitting streak end when he went hitless in 3 at-bats. However, the Suns still managed to take the win, topping the Sanford Swamp Things, 4-3, at The Swamp. "It was a good run," White said after the game. "It was bound to end at some point. I'm just glad we won the day it ended." So far this year, White is batting .360 with 26 home runs and 102 RBIs. |
