Vazquez Slams 3 Deep for Oklahoma City Friday, June 12th , 2065 The Cleveland Attack won't soon forget the display of raw power put on today by Victor Vazquez of the Oklahoma City Whirlwind. He victimized the Attack by pounding three pitches out of Cleveland Ballpark to spark his club to the 9-4 win. "I got three pitches down the pipe and popped them," Vazquez told reporters. "Today I was in a groove. Tomorrow, I could just pop up the same pitches and go 0-for-3." In addition to the homers, he collected 6 RBIs and scored 3 runs. Victor Vazquez hit a solo-shot off Otton van Aalst in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Iván Salcido in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Nick Waldon in the 8th. Batting .405 to date, Vazquez has 8 home runs and 19 RBIs. |
