The future looks extremely bright for Políbio Raudono. At the age of 22, many players are still trying to find their way in Explorer League.
Raudono has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the West Most Valuable Hitter.
"I didn't expect to hit .321 this year, that's for sure," the center fielder said.
The Idaho Falls Rapids star also put up a .414 on-base percentage this year, with 162 hits, 34 doubles, 7 triples, 20 home runs, 58 RBIs and 96 runs scored.
He received 13 first place votes out of a possible 20. Mike Slezak of the Rochester Spartans finished second in voting with 6 first place votes, while António Paz of the Glendale Cobras finished third.
