Wilmington first baseman Luis Antonio Pérez had a field day at Eagles Ballpark, battering Atlanta pitchers and hitting for the cycle.

Pérez sparked the Eagles to a 10-6 triumph over the Peaches by going 4-for-5 with 3 RBI and scoring 2 runs.

"I was seeing the ball great today," Pérez said. "I'm glad it translated into results on the field."

Luis Antonio Pérez singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI triple in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Kevin McLaughlin in the 8th.

So far this season Pérez has gotten 97 hits in 243 at-bats for a .399 batting average with 20 home runs. His stats include 53 RBIs and 56 runs scored. He has played in 64 games.
