Peaches Arturo Salgado Will Miss Season Wednesday, July 15th , 2065 A blow for Arturo Salgado today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 8 months with a ruptured disc. Salgado suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Atlanta Peaches are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Salgado's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. So far this season Salgado has worked 25.2 innings in 30 relief appearances with 13 saves. He has dished out 22 strikeouts and walked 23 with a 2-5 mark and a 6.31 ERA. |
