West Picks July's Best Batter Saturday, August 1st , 2065 Juan Saldarriaga has a lot going for him. The Olympia right fielder just broke into the majors this year and now the West has just picked him as its top hitter for July. In 19 games last month this outstanding rookie batted .433 with 10 home runs, 22 RBIs and 16 runs scored. In the current season, Saldarriaga has put up a .355 batting average with 49 hits, 17 home runs, 42 RBI and scored 32 runs. |
