On a Roll: Thompson Hits for Cycle Tuesday, September 1st , 2065 Joe Thompson had a special day at Destroyers Park today, contributing to the Brooklyn Dodgers' 8-7 win and hitting for the cycle along the way. The 28-year-old third baseman went 4-for-5, raking a single, double, triple and home run against the Annapolis Destroyers. "Boy, Joe had himself a ballgame, didn't he?" Brooklyn manager said later.
