5-Hit Blitz by Wilmington's Pérez Thursday, September 10th , 2065 Luis Antonio Pérez was sizzling at the plate today. In a game played at Raleigh Field, the Wilmington first baseman blistered the Raleigh Explorers for 5 hits in 6 at-bats to pace his club to a 13-12 victory. "Pérez was too tough to get out today," Explorers skipper said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Luis Antonio Pérez singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Ron Tucker in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 6th and flied out in the 8th.
