Rowdy Players Suspended by League Sunday, September 13th , 2065 Luis Antonio Pérez of Wilmington and Emil Ibanescu of Birmingham were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Pérez will have to miss 4 games for his part in the brawl, while Ibanescu was given 6 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. In his season totals, Pérez has 37 home runs, .378 BA, .443 OBP, 97 RBIs and 99 runs scored. He has played in 118 games. Up to now Ibanescu has compiled an ERA of 7.00 with a 5-10 mark over 26 starts. He has 50 strikeouts in 127.1 innings and has held opponents to a .331 batting average. |
