Today, the Eugene Ducks are the ones feeling overwhelmed with excitement, and the Louisville Sluggers are the ones thinking about what they could have done differently. The Ducks took a 6-3 victory at Eugene Ballpark today, which gave Eugene a 3-1 series win. With the win, Eugene will advance to play in the League Championship Series. "We aren't ready to go home yet," said Ducks left fielder Bob Elliott, who was named series MVP. The Eugene Ducks will play against the Rochester Spartans in the next round.
