Paquet Wins Award for ELW Dominance Saturday, October 24th , 2065 2065 was a year to remember for Luigi Paquet. The Louisville Sluggers reliever was the owner of a 2.90 ERA this season over 59 innings of work. He made 47 relief appearances and had 30 saves, 34 strikeouts, 20 walks and a record of 6 wins and 4 losses. He's also now got some hardware, as the 33-year-old has been named the West Reliever of the Year Award winner. "It's something I can tell my grandchildren some day, pretty special," he said. He received 20 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Will Walley of the Olympia Battle Cats finished second in voting, while Jon Hopkins of the Rochester Spartans finished third.
