5-for-6 Day for Lee Monday, May 20th , 2069 There was no storybook ending. Tyler Lee of the Wilmington Eagles socked it to the visiting Raleigh Explorers with a terrific 5-hit game, but his team didn't get the win. The Eagles fell, 12-10, at Eagles Ballpark. "I don't want to sound ungrateful, but something is missing here," Lee complained following the loss. "When you have a great game you should win the game, too." He definitely had an unforgettable day in the batter's box, ripping out 5 hits in 6 at-bats. Wilmington manager sympathized with his left fielder, telling BNN reporters after the game that "Tyler played a whale of a game, but sometimes individual brilliance is not enough." Tyler Lee singled in the 2nd, hit a three-run triple in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
