Sellars Awarded May's ELW Top Bat Prize Saturday, June 1st , 2069 Rick Sellars of the Glendale Cobras said he feels just as good now as he did five or ten years ago in his career. That much seems obvious, as even at the age of 38, the third baseman put up a fantastic month and has been named the West Batter of the Month for May. On the month, Sellars batted .398, hit 15 home runs, drove in 36 runs, scored 24 times and compiled a .472 on-base percentage. So far this year in 34 games, Sellars is hitting .365 with 17 home runs, 40 RBIs and 28 runs scored. |
