Glendale's Sellars Gets ELW Player of the Week Monday, June 3rd , 2069 Rick Sellars had a week for the ages as he romped to the West Player of the Week Award. The happy-go-lucky 38-year-old still plays ball like a kid, mashing and slashing as he goes. The Glendale Cobras third baseman hit .591 last week as he chalked up 13 hits in 22 at-bats, 6 home runs, 10 RBIs and 8 runs scored. For the season, Sellars has produced 47 hits in 123 at-bats for a .382 average with 19 home runs and gotten on base at a .457 clip. |
