Ellis Blisters Wilmington Tuesday, July 16th , 2069 5 times is the charm -- at least for Brian Ellis. The Fresno Grizzlies third baseman tore up the Wilmington Eagles to the tune of 5 hits in 6 at-bats at Eagles Ballpark. The offensive onslaught from Ellis powered the 10-5 Grizzlies win. "Ellis was a tough out," Wilmington manager said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Brian Ellis doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, flied out in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
