Sean Taggart collected yet another hit in the 5-3 Colorado Springs Avalanche win over the Sportsman at Sportsman Park. The Colorado Springs left fielder finished 2-for-5 in the game. During an extended batting practice session before the game, the famously hard-working Taggart had fielded questions from reporters about his hitting streak, which now sits at 20 games. "I'm not doing too much special," he said. "I'm well-prepared and I'm just trying to get the bat on the ball and put it in play." Sean Taggart singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, flied out in the 6th and grounded out in the 9th. Taggart is currently batting .348 with 30 home runs and 60 RBIs. |
