Everything went the way of the St. Louis Sportsman, who not only came away with the 8-4 victory over Colorado Springs, but also held Taggart hitless in 3 at-bats to put an end to his 20-game hitting streak. "It was a good run," Taggart said afterward. "It would be much easier to take right now if we had won." So far on the season, Taggart is hitting .345 with 30 home runs, 60 RBIs and 87 runs scored.
