Hilton Bombs 3 HR Against Fresno Sunday, August 11th , 2069 Fans are still buzzing after Raleigh whipped the Fresno Grizzlies by the score of 19-6 at Grizzles Park. David Hilton smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the left fielder bashed out 3 hits in 6 at-bats, had 7 RBIs and scored 4 times. At the postgame press conference, Hilton said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game. "Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Hilton said. "Three is just... wow." David Hilton grounded out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Wei-quo Ju in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Wesley Qualtrough in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, walked in the 6th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Jorge Varela in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th. This year, Hilton has hit at a .344 clip with 79 RBIs, 20 home runs and 53 runs scored. |
