5-for-6 Day for Ayala Wednesday, August 21st , 2069 Jonathan Ayala had an answer for everything the Rochester Spartans threw at him at Crawfords Field. The Pittsburgh second baseman went 5-for-6 in the game to put his name in the record book and give the Crawfords a win, 8-7. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Ayala said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Jonathan Ayala hit a solo-shot off Jordan Sepulveda in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, flied out in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
