Great Stroke: Castro Gets 5 Hits
Saturday, April 12th , 2070
It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Jordan Castro of the Glendale Cobras. Castro went on a tear at Battle Cats Park and cracked hit after hit off Olympia pitching. When the dust settled on the diamond, the 25-year-old first baseman had a career 5-for-5 day and something he will long remember.
"Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but I don't think I'll tell them we lost," he joked in the BNN postgame interview.
Despite Castro's personal accolades, the Olympia Battle Cats walked off the field with the 6-4 win.
Jordan Castro singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Dave Masse in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
To date this year, Castro is batting .476 with 2 home runs.
