Raleigh Takes Wildcard Series in Deciding Game Tuesday, September 23rd , 2070 In an exciting Wildcard Series that had its fair share of drama and intrigue, perhaps it is Explorer League fans who have come out the winner. But on the field, the winners were the Raleigh Explorers, who edged the Pittsburgh Crawfords 3-2 to advance to the League Championship Series. Raleigh won the final game by a 6-3 count to wrap up the series. Ryan Vonderharr earned series MVP honors, by hitting .579 with a .652 on-base percentage. He had 4 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 8 runs. The Raleigh Explorers will play against the Atlanta Peaches in the next round. Atlanta had a bye in the Wildcard Series.
