Lions Aren’t Supporting Dave Cross in First Half
Dave Cross has had a hard time gaining momentum in his new home. Kentucky has lost 7 consecutive Cross starts, but he hasn’t had much help.
The 31 year old righty is tied for the lowest run support per start in the AFBL. The Lions are mustering just two runs on average when he takes the mound.
While his strikeout rate has remained consistent, Cross is on pace to give up a career high in home runs and is having his worst year in the last five when it comes to free passes.
The Lions will look for him to turn things around in the second half with more consistent all around play, especially the defense
