Bouvery’s Hit Streak Reaches 28

Ademar Bouvery has extended his hit streak to a league season high of 28 games. The 27 year old designated hitter is in his fifth big league season.

In addition to his hit streak, Bouvery has led the Lions offense with his 20 home runs and 60 runs batted in.

It doesn’t look like he’ll match his career high WAR numbers from last season, when he posted a 7.3 value. That’s been the story for Kentucky this year. There has been plenty of regression for Lions across the board.

A combination of old age and a strong division has kept the team down so far this year, but they still have an outside chance at a wildcard spot.
